Rroot Returns!

Finally got a computer working!!!!

Mind you... I have no idea of how to work Ubuntu... So it will take a while to become a regular face around the lands again. It will also mean that HTML will take some time to get started. But huzzah! Step one! A computer!

Tomorrow I start learning HTML5 from a handy little beginners book. It includes a video tutorial where you build a very fancy blog. Fancy blog day 1 starts tomorrow. So if anyone knows of some good tutorials for HTML5, please let me know.

In other news, as this project is entirely funded on tip money from work (a parameter set by my wife and I) I found a way to shorten the time needed to wait before buying the Ultra iMac I posted in the OP.

I'm designing a pin to sell to those who will support my attempt the learn HTML and other computer endeavors. 5$ a pin, and honorary investor status mentioned on my website. I've priced it out as costing 200$ for the 700 pins required. I have also polled some of my regulars and have 50 people who say they will buy the pin, which if true, covers the initial cost of having them made.

Learning Time.

I will be spending many Zodiacs in the library studying how to enrich it's tomes and volumes of knowledge. I still intend to be active around the sentinel, and post progress here. The Sentinel post

Apprentice Mystic!

Somewhere! At some point! For having done some certain things... I became an Apprentice Mystic. I was helped by certain exiles, and thanks to some specific things that happened I was accepted into the fold.

While exploring the highlands, I found a Book on Earth sciences of Liranth. Borzon was kind enough to point me to the Alliance Library. I hope to read more of these tomes as they are discovered.

From Rat tower to Jades Three, a good day. (part two)

Jades.
Small.
Dark.
Crowded.
Suffocating.

This was the first time I've been so far from the safety of Town Square. I followed Shalyn and Eudaimonia into the Marsh when I heard there were fallen in Jades. Thinking this would simply be another interesting adventure. We found the fallens one by one and decided to push further into Jades. Borzon, Farhope, Shalyn, Doctor X, Eudaimonia, Silky, Edge Lunos and Aneides. Such powerful Exiles...

I hope one day to return to the Jades, stronger, and able to contribute.
